UNITED STATES VIRGIN ISLANDS CALLALOU
This documentary began in 2022, after receiving a grant from The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) as research that focused on the Mosaic Patterns of the United States Virgin Islands Population.
It was an interesting venture, because so many people wanted to tell their stories and as such we made a decision to film some of the stories and activities. In 2023 we received a second grant which allowed us to go out there and do just that; tell the stories of the people who came from different islands in the Caribbean as well as the United States to create a deep functioning cultural medley, thus the name Virgin Islands Callalou.
(A callalou is a form of soup where all things are added to create a one pot meal.)
The main idea behind this documentary is to develop an awareness in Sustainable Education and Education for Sustainability.
